White's XLT
Struck out at my first location this morning - a rental house. So - called the owner, got permission and then went to a huge old (1900) frame house that is now apartments. And the yard had shade! It has a big yard, though dry as a bone. I just did a small percentage of the yard with my XLT before heading home to lunch, but found the items below. Even had a local metal detectorist (whom I've met before) see me and stop to talk for a while. This place is a couple houses away from where he lives.

That's a great "break of a hunt!" Good job!

You know I find "stopping on impulse" works!
I was passing a house the other day near downtown Trinidad and the sod had been removed for re-seeding.
I saw, whom appeared to be the owner outside working and stopped to talk.
After chatting for a few minutes I boldly asked the owner if he would mind if I used my detector for a few minutes just to see if I could find anything.
All it took was asking, he gladly said "Sure!"
I didn't find much but broken kid's toys and a few pennies and pull tabs. But, what if? --- :)

Thanks,
GRB
