musket ball, bullet, tiny button and What is it?

These are some things I found in a farm field. The one looks like a cap off of something? the button has some writing on the back, but cannot make it out.

The button is modern, but you bullet looks like a Civil War era Colt revolver bullet.

thanks Steve, but I don't think the button is modern. I will take a picture of the back. I found two larger plain ones also there. From an 1876 homesite.
