Had been poking around a 3rd Seminole War settlers fort that I frequent often where my last target as I was leaving the site two weeks ago was a lone musketball. Going back there I decided to grid the area where it was dug for possible siblings to the last one, seeing that it was a drop.Anyways, I found two more as well as a few spent percussion caps.the chain was between the caps and balls were al within a 10 square foot spot and this chain was in the middle of it all at the same depth of 9 inches. I would have to guess the chain may be from the person sitting there back in 1856 shooting his musket and dropping his balls. Any ides?
