Must be beginner's luck

This is my first posting as I am new to CRHing. I got 9 rolls of halves to start and on the second roll, got my first Franklin. I picked up a 90% and a 40% to add to Ben. This is easy I say and get my first box which produced 1 Franklin, 2 90%s, 11 40%, 4 silver proofs and one gold plated clad. Wow, ain't nothin to this. Second box scored 12 Franklins(2 enders), 11 40%s and 2 silver proofs. Couldn't wait to start my third box that I got at the same time as the second box. SKUNK!!! I'm having a blast!!

Thats a great start. But it wont always be that good. AS long as you treat it as a hobby,and not a job you will have allot of fun. HH

sounds like your off to a great start and doing quite well - esp on finding so many BF's.

One thing though - not all proofs are silver. In fact most proofs that are found in circulation are actually clad. You might just want to double check the ones you've found to be sure. But even if they are just clad they are still keepers.
