That's a piece of lead that has the strange pattern embedded.
It's the same on the other side.




And a small surprise in this button. Ought to be good
for mystery button hunters.






Sorry for the pics but I can't do much better.
I cant really read it but there appears to be
a word up top & one at the bottom.

Something I can see is what looks like 2 arrows & 2 stars on each side of the bottom
word. I thought the bottom word was probably "GILT" but, the 3rd letter from the right appears
to be an "E" to me.


The front appears to be plain.

Anyway, everybody seems to have something to keep them happy from this hunt.

Maybe with a little tooth picking, you can read those a little better. Flat buttons are always good finds to me.

Believe me, I've been trying everything I can think of to get more detailed information. I'd like to know what sort of age this spot holds. This button might be a fluke but the place bears a bit more consideration now.

I'll keep everyone apprised.
