MXT Long shaft

Does whites or anyone else make a longer shaft for the MXT ? I'm feeling that the stock set up is just a little to short for me .

Yup they do. I use them on all my coils. Just give whites a call.

I have been considering a longer shaft myself. Does it feel flimsy like the coil is just swaying?

It's still solid, but it makes it slightly more coil heavy. I always hunt with a bungy attached between the detector and a back pack so longer hunts are possable .
