I can't find where I heard or read about a certain clue about the LDM.

I remember it was given as a quote from Jacob Waltz, but I am not sure.

"My mine is about 15 feet away from a Mexican mine that goes all the way through to the other side of the hill"

That is all the info I have on it and I probably am misrepresenting it, but it's close to what I heard or read.

Does anyone else know of a similar clue or heard it before? I've searched and the only place that mentions anything close was on Jeff Howlett's Arcana Expedition site #11 clue. "...He also said his shaft and the Mexican’s shaft were very close together, but when you stood at either shaft you cannot see the other shaft"

but that's not where I got it from.

I do not want to argue about the validity of the clue itself, I am just trying to figure out where I heard it.

Hello J.,
In thinking about some sort of clue where a hole of sorts goes through to the other side….
The only thing that comes to mind, may not be worded very close to what you’re saying, it had to do with a cave or tunnel that miners used for storing tools. Presumably for working in a mine close by.
In that version, it was a cave, used as a pathway for getting to an open location at the other end of the cave.

I think it could have been something someone was talking about on the forums. 🤷🏼‍♂️
It seemed like a Doc Thorne type story, someone getting led through this cave to get to a spot. 🤓👍

Maybe it was part of an LDM story, 🤷🏼‍♂️ I don’t have more to go with that.

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately, I am pretty sure they were talking about the LDM and it was a quote attributed to Jacob Waltz. For some reason I think it was a woman saying it, perhaps a curator of a museum or from a foundation or library. I will keep looking though and I appreciate your response.

I hope you find where you saw/heard it. 👍
