MXT vs TDI SL for Depth

I'm in Virginia's highly mineralized ground and currently have an MXT. I am looking at buying a used TDI SL. Is it worth it as depth? How much difference do you think I'll see?

Just finished up a hunt in va red clay, took my dfx, mxt pro and tdi. You will NEVER use youre mxt again in mineralized soil, never, the tdi is that good. The tdi will ignore the iron in the red dirt. My son used my mxt and dfx for 2-1/2 days and fought them whole time. Finally settled on 3x5 dd, 15 kh and 5 ground filters on the dfx. I ran a 12 inch dual field coil and 10x14 inch razorback w/ no issues at all.

Thanks for the response. I thought I had a used TDI SL bought, but the guy on CL disappeared. I'm looking forward to give it a shot.

Thanks for the info. However, that's the guy I was supposed to buy it from. We were scheduled to meet and he didn't show. Never returned any more e-mails. Something was hinky about him from the beginning.
