My 1st find...

I believe I'm in a state of shock I think I'm gonna have to frame it, looks like an antique. **Had to modify this post...I need to clarify that this is not my 1st find ever, been MDing off & on for years. This is my 1st time to ever find a pull tab with MD.

Yesterday, I MDed my yard & found this whatsit in the 2nd pic. I understand there was a sharecropper's house here during the 1930's. I have found many medicine bottles over the years & a window weight. I also located the old fence. No money, no gold, no silver...I'm going have to go elsewhere to hunt for that.

This morn, I wandered around the field looking for Indian artifacts...need a rain so I can start hunting again. I did find something...1st alligator of the season and it was in the pond. It's just a baby about 4', I did not ask "Where's your mom & dad?", I'm praying they're further down the river.

you need to come hunting with me to some of my spots river rat! sometimes it seems like pulltabs are the only thing i find!! ......no alligators to speak of around here though,which is fine by me!

Yes...definitely frame it LOL...your great great grandchildren will be paying big bucks for them someday.....Keep hitting that sharecroppers cabin also...they never had much but what they did have...they hid.As long as you found the fence, make sure you hit the corner post hard.....they were usually set in better ....and people tended to bury near a corner post more than not.....and I want a picture of the baby gator ...hahahahah

RR, as far as pulltabs go....that's one of the nicest I've ever seen. It's really amazing that it's your first.

Hiya RR,
Your FIRST ringpull. Can you come over here and find the rest that i haven't found yet. hehehe.
I have Started my own collection of JUST pulltabs and Ringpulls.!!! When i have enough, i'm getting a friend to melt them down into a nice polished Ingot, Something to show for all my hard work.!!! I'll be framing that for sure.!!!! hehehe
