White's V3I , Minelab CTX 3030 , Cibola, Deus, ATPro, GPX 5000. 4800, 4500, & 3500.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I'm completely hooked on relic hunting. I love the challenge of it all, the research , approaching the landowner's correctly and saving the 150+ year old relics from the ground. I hope to have many successful years like my 1st. HH

Amazing amazing amazing lol My civil war collection right now are 3 dug .69s lol congrats on the great saves!!!!

That looks like a great year for year for a veteran hunter, let alone a new hunter.

You got my vote for the Rookie of the Year

I posted it on their Facebook page. They at least gave it a like.

This is the kind of post that makes me want to retire early. Is that table bending in the middle from the weight?

I work for myself and 90% of what I do is paperwork , that I pay someone else to do. That means I have a lot of time to relic hunt. And ya the table is bending a little : ).

JDug, like I've said before, you've done very well. Also, you've been one busy little boy in a target rich environment with some fine machines! Very impressive, I would have thought Minelab would have done better than a 'like', hmmmm. When you use your V3i, take some good pictures of the targets found and send it in to Whites and let us know their reply.

Could you show us pictures of the coins please!.....................63bkpkr

That's a novel idea. I don't think I'll be using the v3i any time soon. It's for family and friends. I'll try to put a pic of the coins soon.

I love how organized you are! All of my relics are all over the place in bags and what not. This kind of inspired me to be a little bit more organized with my finds!

I figure I should keep all relics from a particular camp or battle together and document as much as I can, after all I took it out of the ground after 150 years. I even have maps of where most everything came from. No one will ever see them until I'm sucking food from a straw or dead, but I feel like I will have left something behind.

That's an awesome display. Man there is some killer stuff there. Can you take some closer pics of some of your favourite items?

Relic hunting all the way.:occasion14:

Excellent. You're not hooked you're obsessed. Thanks for sharing.

A great display and a great year. You know, one day I'd like to arrange my finds by year, so that I could walk through my metal detecting life by walking around a room. One day perhaps. I think I could just about remember when and where I dug everything important, since I keep such good records of it all.

Congrats on a fantastic start!

Cheers,

Buck
