Hello my tnet’rs, it’s been a while since My last post. I’ve been so busy with work and the grandkids that I haven’t had much time to dirt fish... Last week, I was talking to one of my good friends and he drove up to my neck of the woods with his buddy and hit a spot that produced some good stuff. I’ve only heard of this place but never actually made it out to it until yesterday. Well, the beast (AT-Gold) didn’t let me down... I’d say 15-20 mins after hitting the ground i started digging out some goodies. I have to say, the ground was screaming... the ground is so littered with iron and what not that it was difficult setting my machine. I didn’t stay long cause I promised another buddy and tnet’r we would come out together and hit the dirt, however, in that short time, I dug up some WII buttons, an old dog tag of some sort, almost looks like an old SSC and my second ever gold coin! The funny thing is, the beast did not hit on tue gold coin but instead hit what was next to it, a 50 cal casing... it was screaming between 86-93 on my machine. I didn’t see the coin at first until I scrapped off some of dirt and then spotted the rim. I was exited and immediately thought I had a silver merc. Because I had my shades on I didn’t see the gold color gleaming back at me. It was not until I tipped it and saw a wreath. I had to text my good friends and tell them what I found by accident because I certainly didn’t ping on it... I was soooo excited I couldn’t get my words out to my good friend Jimzz977. I think I was mumbling and not making any sense, lol. I know I was a short of breath fidgeting with my camera on my phone and my machine. Afterward, I continued to swing fast before it got dark and got an 84 amongst the trash and spotted a 1943 merc on top. Sorry for rambling for so long but to make my story short, I headed back to my truck while scanning the ground and spotted a ring on top. It’s stamped 14k but I can’t tell due to the scratches on the diamond. My good friend is going to bring his test key this week and check it out. This is my 2nd gold coin, oh how I missed this hobby!!!!!!!! Oops almost forgot... see I knew was rambling so much I forgot to mention it was a 1945 dos pesos Mexican coin. Tiny little thing!!!! Still skeptical about the ring. Jimzz said he didn’t believe they would put a fake rock on 14k but we’ll see... I’ll keep you guys posted!
