That one is in great shape. Too bad the date is wore off. I wonder if there was a way to lift the date?

I can almost see a 2 Pointman

192? Oh well There's dated fish out there somewhere in the Dirtsea

Nice SLQ ! Have not found any silver quarters yet this year, sounds like one of those barriers eh?

[jewelerguy]

I love standing libs. such a beautiful design, unlike coins today

[lesche Is More]

I agree jewelerguy its a very classy design oozes the charm of its time
The times of the people are worn onto every coin

25 cents was still some dough in the era it was lost

Nice detail on that one!, too bad the design allowed for dates to wear off

still a sweet find nonetheless......congrats!

[park pirate]

Sweet coin, even dateless..

[I-DIG-IT]

Funny you mention this. I only found 1 silver Washington this year and I found 27 silver so far. Last year, I found almost 40 silver and 3 quarter total; 1 SLQ and two Barbers quarters. Almost all were dimes.

[Cool Hand Fluke]

SLQ's are always a great find! This is one of the harder to find coins. Nice find!

[yorkiemiki]

Great find buddy!

I have an old standing liverty I inherited (not found -i've had pretty bad luck so far hehehe)

The date is usually under the feet of the liberty, but mine also wore off pretty bad where I can only make out one number

Congrats
