Toy cannons and boot pistols are the :censored:! I'd love to dig a toy cannon one day. Those are all 1799 for sure :laughing7: I really like that greener brass one.
 

This is the cannon my buddy found when I took him to one of my sites. I was happy for him but this one I would have loved to add to my collection. I also found this pistol barrel in the same area but I'm not sure if it's colonial or not

Your Pistol barrel is definitely colonial and being brass with what appears to be an expanded muzzle, could be very early as later weapons were made with iron bbls. I see no nipple for percussion cap, should be hole in the side for flint lock ignition. Probably loaded with ball or buck shot or combination of both. What is bore diameter? Super find!

Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. The bore diameter is about 9mm.
