i took my little one in her sling field walking yesterday morning before the heat came.
after about an hour we had no luck ,so i decided to hit the woods at the end of the field. upon arrival in the woods my daughter kept looking back at the field, like she wanted to go back in the field. so i said alright lets find a darn point. well 2 minutes into being back in the field there it was my best find, that wont be beat untill i get my wife out the with me and her, lol.

Persistence pays off nice find,

Fossis .................

P.S. Start them off young, & they will always remember the
good times with their parents in the outdoors.

thanks, we went fishing after and she kept grabbing my pole and jigging it, we were carp fishing but if i had a jig on she could possibly of caught a bass, thats how good it was.

Just call it Womans intuition ;)! You go girl! Lucky Dad ;)!

Exactly what I was thinking. Encourage her and she might wind up being the next Margaret Mead or Mary Leakey. Or better yet, a great artifact hunting partner - along with your wife. The family that hunts artifacts together stays together.

Nice point!!

Update , dropping off to my 19 year old Marine 19 years later , so she can have our first point found together at her new home in N.C.

Very nice, some points definitely mean more than others I had one in my yard that I could tell was a at least a piece of an arrowhead and my brother was visiting and he was riding around with his daughter and I think she was less than one and I called him over to see if she wanted to pick it out, but she got pissed that she got taken out of the side-by-side and wanted nothing to do with whatever was in the dirt haha

Congrats to your daughter on that nice looking point.

Great gift for your marine daughter. Thank her for her service from an old Army veteran!

Way to go daughter. Long time Trev.
