Today I found the absolute best find I have had since starting this hobby. What a great feeling to open a roll of coins and see this beauty staring back at me. I've been waiting patiently to finally find one of these older 90% silver commemorative halves. This is a pretty good condition 1925 Stone Mountain Half. I'm totally psyched. It's been a pretty good night tonight of hunting. In addition to this coin, I also found another silver bicentennial proof, a couple walkers, a couple bens, quite a few '64's, and a bunch of 40%. The variety has been excellent this evening and the quantity has been pretty good too. Total boxes searched is ten and I still have a couple to go through.

Awesome finds! That's one of the clubs I'm still waiting to join.

Love the stone mountain half!!

I bought one in really nice condition for 35 bucks a year into CRHing, then found one a few weeks later :) The one I found was worse off than yours, but I still love it!

I think ive been fairly lucky on commemoratives... found 2-3 Booker T's, 1 stone mountain, 2 george washington comm proofs, Illinois(Lincoln) comm(sold on ebay for 125+).

HH!

Great find! congratulations!

Thanks everyone. This is only the second silver commemorative I have ever found. The other was a George Washington in rough shape
