Saw that on another forum, great find, I'd settle for a couple accidents like that ;D
Don

With no plowed fields much anymore, it is a rare
day to find much around here, except for erosion.

Fossis...........

Looks like a handful of woodford. Are you in John's Valley fossis?

You close or in the Ozarks?
Don

Ouachitas, south of the Ozarks.

We have some of the black flint close by, in
the mountains, south of here. (Leflore CO)

I'me not familiar with 'John's Valley.

That was no accident. You recognized an opportunity, and it paid off, cool. 8)

Well, I must admit I was looking down as I walked.

nice finds, looks like a hot spot...

Thanks, It was on a penisula, the river
curved around , it was farmed for years, but now it
has returned to nature.
Found this stuff in an eroded roadway.

While I was taking pic's today of an 'old river
crossing', for TODAYS SNAPSHOT, I found these.
Not much, but my first in a lot of moons.

Nice finds,I don,t know what I,d do without any tilled fields.I,ve lost many sites already to this tobbaco buy out around here. Congradulations and nice pics too. Today is my birthday and I,m not working. I,m going out looking now. I have to have an operation on my leg soon.I,ll probably won,t be walking any more fields for a while. Jeff

Happy B-day Jeff....Some one around there is bound to have a mule and sled that can pull you thru the fields so you can hunt after that operation ;D
Don
Thanks Don, You are the first today to wish me a happy b-day. If there is a will there is a way. Jeff

Most folks would have walked right on by them Fossis, no accident there, you knew what they were and scored nicely. Are you going back?

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Nice find Fossis! I like the shape and color of that little arrowhead. See you still have a keen eye for looking. Good luck hunting! Jim

Nice find Fossis! I'd say a little bit of luck, and a lot of knowledge and experience.

Good luck!

Brian

only place with no grass. :D
