I enjoy collecting Machins in postally used condition, they are one of the most complex stamp issues of modern times, and are a great challenge. I also enjoy collecting as many Machins with circular date stamps as I can find.

Most of mine are used as well. They were the first set I got into as a kid. My Mom corresponds with several people in Britain and still saves the envelopes for me. I try to find examples with the lightest cancellations.

Funny thing tho, I never found the 1/2p orange from the very first series "in the wild." Ended up buying it.

Also love the regional issues. Only as I got older did I understand what the represented.
