It's been raining here for the last 3 days and has been pretty miserable. On a lark I got a bug up my backside to go check those volleyball courts again at 1:30 am with the new Ace, but there were a bunch of kids hanging out in the parking lot so I just kept on driving. I was going to head home but decided to swing by another park that is not too far from there.
I headed over to the tot lot as you folks call them, it's the playground in my neck of the woods, anyway there was a lot of trash on the ground, pizza, food, cups looked pretty nasty but I was there so I gave it a whirl.
I found a few firsts for me, being tokens, buttons and GOLD!!!!!!!!!
This is everything I dug after cleaning it up. I dug 3 charms, did not really look at them as it's dark and I kind of like to save it as a surprise for when I get home to see what I got. I got home at 4:00 am, two and a half hour hunt and I don't think I did a quarter of the area.
28 pennies, 2 Chuckie Cheese tokens same hole, 3 charms, 13 dimes, 10 nickles, 1 quarter. I was a little tired when I got home now I know why. Also got 3 pieces in different holes not by one another that look like pieces of coin.
The hearts charm is junk, but the flower is marked S. FIORI 925 and has a purple stone in the center.
The Elephant is marked 18K and it's white gold. I almost did not dig it as the signal was right up against the playground equipment and I was not too sure, I dug the old pull tabs right next to the elephant, I thought maybe there was more.
I see why people call the Ace 250 a coin magnet. I swear the coins practically attach themselves to the coil. Well not exactly but you can see the results.
