I got out for 2 hours this morning at a newer park that used to be a farm. The old Barn is still there, but the house was torn down at some point. I found my first silver quarter (1956), and a flat button, there about 2 weeks ago. I had only found silver dimes up to that point.

Today I found 2 silver Washington quarters (1945 and 46), a 1927 Buffalo, part of a horse shoe, a live rifle bullet, some clad, and a few odds and ends.

Several firsts for me today, first 2 silver hunt, first 2 silvers in one hole, first Buffalo Nickel, and first live bulltet!

Was soo excited to find the first silver quarter, then rechecked the hole and couldn't believe it when I was still getting a strong 11:47 on the e-trac! The Buff was the very next hole, and was only about 2 feet away!

Still some ground there that I haven't hit, so I will be heading back!

Thank you Debby! I guess so, which surprises me, I would have thought this place had been hammered, you just never know...

Some very nice finds ! Congrats and show us more when you go back.

Many Gifts

Nice quarters, you might want to keep them close to each other as they are used to that. Looks like a .223 or 5.56 mm round you have there. Nice that the Buff had a readable date for ya!.......................63bkpkr

Congrats on having a great day. Nothing beats the satisfaction of a good hunt. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the silver quarters and best luck on your next visit =)

The oil level tag is cool too. Probably off a differential. I hope nobody cares about the grass there. That full plug you cut will die for sure unless it gets lots of water and a little fertilizer. If you do a three sided one, it's more likely to survive.

I usually cut a 3 sider. Guess I got a little excited on that one... :)
