Just an curious observation Texaspoint, but you and Bluebird share a rather unique cadence and set of grammar rules in your postings. Not to mention that you just happened to register today zeroed in on this post as your first post within 30 minutes of registering, I'm sure there's no coincidence there.. :icon_scratch:

Not that it needs to be said again Neogeo, but I like the point and love the in situ. :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumright:

this is my first post.
and i just had to say something.
I have hunted Texas points for 50 years.
I am in my 70s now.
this point is as real as a 3 dollar bill.
IMHO
if u look , you can see just a little but of moss stuck to the center of this blade.
that means it was sitting on top of the moss.

I agree with you bluebird

I thought the same thing man,There are stinkers everywhere.I have seen the big green monster a few times since I started collecting. And shall see some more before I join the makers...it's all good.

I think your find is wonderful!!!!
Also want to mention those artifacts you sent to me to show me what to look for certainly looks wonderful and REAL!
Thanks Neogeo!

Excellent In-situ.

Thank you and it's ok.......It happens at times.Everyone can believe what they believe.I believe it to be real!

I absolutely love this story congrats on a great point. How come someone has to always be a killjoy

The funny thing is that I was not even gonna look over where I found it....The spot is on the top side of a ravine, and not real safe to get to.When I looked up near the top I seen a big ol lizard,so I scrambled up there...Alas he was gone ,But when I looked over to where he was I found the point..I just about fell down the hill trying to get my camera....lol...

Josh, well put. I am cracking up at my desk!

I love it. Lucky dog you. Ya know that supposedly clovis point I found and had authenticated by ay an expert in paloindians ? It still has step fractures in it. Go figure.
Glad you did not eat the lizard :icon_sunny:

The aforementioned is so true for the disturbed. I humor myself quit often. Congrats on that fine arrowhead!

This old chestnut again....lol....This sittin stone did gather moss tho,it dang near glued it to the ground.Next time I will just video my finds,And yes lots of Texas flint artifacts have fresh looking flake scars and hinges.
Here is a pic. of it just out of the ground,With the point being so translucent the moss started to grow under it,then around it.....

Consider the source, laugh, and move on to what's next, Neo.

If you don't invest him with personal importance of your own, he has none.
