Interesting the first pic makes it look like obsidian but the pic with the calipers makes it look like hornstone. Nice point either way. Gary

Nice points. To each his own, but no way in hell would I put one of my points between the jaws of a caliper, no matter how gently, when laying a ruler next to it works just fine.
