What a day. Went to the field in back of our church, and worked about 3 hours of coin hunting. My best find to date. All clad 17 Quarters, 10 dimes, 4 nickels, 46 pennies, and a nice old Boy Scout scarf holder. Never in all my years have I found that many quarters in on days hunt. Makes up for the day before when it was 90 degrees out and all I found was 1 dime 1 nickel and 6 pennies and a good sunburn on my neck. LOL Shane

Fantastic! I've never found that many coins in one day; congratulations . . .now go find MORE! Breezie

PS: It was ONLY 90 degrees? Wow, we'd call that a cold front around here. I haven't been able to MD in the past 3 weeks because of the heat/humidity. Of course the gnats and mosquitoes l-o-v-e it! Yesterday the 'feel temp' was 106.

Anyone else finding quarters in pairs?

I once checked a grassy spot where the teens would transit through to the movie theaters and found 20 quarters (6 of them in pairs of two). I was cherry picking. All of the dimes, and pennies are all still there, lol (probably about $10.00 of dimes).

Nice clad stacks.

I love a heavy pouch of coins.

I've dug about $80.00 so far this year.

Keep it up Shane and you can sell that teepee and buy a wood house! :hello2: :laughing9:
