Mind you I hunt 90% in woods and fields. I have this soil knife and think it is great, cuts roots fast. I have never used a digging tool with the offset handle

nice looking knife looks similar to a hori hori

Great looking tool. I was thinking about buying a Lesche, but now I will give this one a look as well. Thanks.

I have the Lesche and love it. However, the saw portion should be a bit finer - Hangs up on the little, but rascally roots.

Not a big fan of the offset handle myself. Looks like a good tool similar to hori-hori types in the 20-30 range. Little bit wider which will be better for scooping out the plugs.

That pic looks like it came straight from The Chainsaw Massacre lol

That looks identical to my Hari Hari. Mine is stainless steel and very durable. It will not bend. I need to file the serrated portion to be a little more aggressive. Got it on amazon for 19.00. I like it better than the offset handle.

What's the advantage off the offset handle? Many have that offset.

Kydex Sheath

I love mine too I made a Kydex sheath for mine. For Heavy work with roots and gravel I use the Viking tool but for straight sod the Leonard is King

Nice Sheath do you make those and sell them??

No I just made them for myself. If I was to try to sell some of these. What do you think I could ask for them with shipping.
