My Etrac wont turn on.

When I push the button I hear a click ,a second later another click. I charged a battery planning on a 1st hunt of the year, put the battery in and tested it and started up like normal but when I got to my hunt site all I got was the click, no screen. Has anyone else had this problem? Whats it cost to replace the on/off switch? Thanks for any help.

How old is the rechargeable battery? Do you have a AA battery holder for your machine? If so I would try it first, I'm thinking the battery may be bad.

Yup, start with a known good battery pack first. Does the detector make any noise when you pass a metal target over the coil?
