But in the UK, they get paid for their finds by the government. Why all the metal detectorists finding big treasures over there, but no LRLers? Are you saying that you only allow criminals into your club?

What if someone sees an LRL add, and sends for one? And what if that person is honest, or at the least, doesn't want to risk getting caught?

Also, since it's supposed to be so much easier to find much more treasure with an LRL, there should be lots and lots of reported treasure found. Yet there is absolutely NONE!

It's the same concept as the rich/poor contradiction. The LRL promoters claim they are so successful, yet they can't cover the travel expenses to take Carl's test. Yet they have so much money that they don't want Carl's $25,000.00.

Your story just doesn't wash, in any way, shape, or form.

To show how many loopholes there is in your pseudo-logic. And to give you an opportunity to give a straight answer.

Since LRLs have never been proven to work, by anybody, ever, I don't think you will ever be able to rationally answer certain questions.

Why do you try so hard to "prove" that they work, by asking people to "believe" in them and your fantastic claims; instead of simply providing adequate scientific proof to the public? (Your friends and neighbors are not "the public.) If they actually worked as advertised, any one of what you claim to be "thousands" of LRL users would have won Carl's $25,000.00 by now, or else provided legitimate documentation that they passed the test and weren't paid, or were not allowed to be tested. But there is none of that.

If you don't care enough to provide real proof, then why do you think it is so unusual for people to doubt your fantastic claims? It's only logical that people would want to see real proof of something like that. That's just common sense. So why do you get mad at people for simply using common sense? Your reasoning on this matter doesn't compute. And that makes you your own best "skeptic."

I've been reading the LRL threads here on T'net ever since. I can't thank SWR, EE THr, woof, Carl, LSMorgan, and others (sorry, can't name them all) enough for keeping the pressure on the CA's. It seems like it's a full time job for some of you just to keep up with the responses from the people that claim that these devices work. The nonsensical, pseudoscience answers that are given for how these things work or why they don't work for some people could be the basis of a thesis on insanity.

Yes, I have noticed that also. A lot. It seems to increase whenever someone asks a common sense question that they can't answer.
