My father needs your prayers

It sounds like he's still thinking logically (flirting with the nurses). This type of brain activity really does make a big difference. Prayers sent for both of you!

I pray for you and your whole family for strength, comfort, and peace of mind. I pray for a healing and strengthening of your fathers heart, in Jesus name
Amen

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Your prayers worked wonders! He certainly isnt out of the woods by any means but they put a defibulator & pacemaker in this morning & he came through. He is very tired & weak but he still has his twisted, awesome sense of humor. He kept forgeting where he was, his short term memory isnt too good but when I saw him this morning after his procedures he looked at me & asked "Wheres darren? Did you bring Darren with you?" (I am Darren) This realy scared me, i didnt know how to react..........then he started laughing. Not funny Dad. My daughter flew in from Denver & my son from New Mexico & the look on his face when they walked in was priceless! Considering his original diagnosis I consider this a miracle & I give credit to the Almighty & all the wonderful prayers he received! Once again I thank everyone of you!

AP, I just saw this post. That is wonderful news that he is doing good. We will keep our Prayers going too, for your Dad, you and your family!

I just spoke to my sister who has been a rock through all of this, she said they got him up & walking around for the 1st time just a bit ago. They are talkin about maybe sending him home to Butte on Tuesday! My Dad told her last night just before he went to sleep that this was the best day ever, all the family that came to see him........my little brother flew in from Georgia Saturday morning & that blew him away. I know that seeing all his siblings, children & grandchildren had a lot to do with his amazing recovery but I also know that God had a hand in all this.........all the prayers made an enormous difference & I thank everyone! Sis said his heart is severely damaged & we probably wont have a whole lot of time with him (doc said maybe 2 years tops) but we are committed to making the time we have very special & memorable. Cant wait to get him home, he'll only be a 4 hr drive away for me! Thank you for the thoughts & prayers!

Thanks for the update we will keep your paw, you and your familes in prayer. you know we care deeply for you my friend. Trust and believe in God's power, his Son's love for us all and things work out

Hello everyone, my father is now home in Butte Montana, resting comfortably. He is still a little confused, was telling me he has a credit card bill with several thousand dollars recently charged on it & he dont remember doing it. I told him he bought expensive scotch & cheap hookers! He said he just wishes he could remember it! His heart is still beating eraticaly & they tried twice to "reset" it by stopping it then restarting it (technical name for it, i dont remember it) but both times failed so they will let him gather his strength then try again in a month or so. Its good to have him home though. Thank you everyone for thoughts & prayers........it realy made a big difference, im convinced of this! :)

so glad to hear he is home! still prayin for him!
