My First 18k Gold, Found In A School Yard

Howdy Folks,

I decided to hunt at an elementary school this morning.
This school is about 50 or 60 years old.

They have a huge play area.

I hunted 3 or 4 hours and didn’t get a third of it done.

Here’s the whole shootin match.

There was a lot of clad. So I counted it.

Bullets, buttons, bangles and bells.

Here’s a ROTC badge, token, Kennedy Half, a little
iron and a few pendants.

This pendant turned out to be 18k gold with a pretty
stone of some kind.

Does anyone know what kind of stone this is?

This is the first time I have found 18k gold.

Pretty nice day. It was cold starting out, and I shed
layers as the day progressed. I never got very cold,
but I sure got tired.

Strangely enough I have found as many rings in school yards as I have at the beach! All of my schoolyard rings were silver however and the gold ones were at the beach. That is as great a collection of "stuff" as you are apt to find anywhere. Excellent. Monty
