My first Axe (broken)

I haven't been on in awhile but wanted to share a recent creek find. The really good thing about finding this broken Axe is its my first & I had competition while I was on this bar & they walked right over this ( YES) The insitu shot is not really insitu I was way to excited & picked it up before I thought about it.

The other is a small chopper/hatchet & I did a render of what I feel it looked like (the end is broken on it also).

Then I have a bison vertebra & pecking stone/game ball & other tools.

About 1-2 MI.
I never thought I would find a Axe around this area!

there are alot of them from your area ,back in the early 80s i went to an estate auction on tuttle cove rd the guy probably collected 50 or so just west of his house,you know the area im talking about ,id hit that spot good in the fall,did you ever find anything down behind the bait shop on the sand bars

Jeff, I think I know the creek & I think I've hunted it before? I'll hit it hard towards the fall! Thanks!!
Well I found a small broken piece across the river but nothing in that creek, someone else is hunting it also.

TnMountains, Thanks! Yea I've been out & found a lot of tools & things still waiting on the elusive arrowhead! But even if I don't I have my 1/2 Axe !
