Beautiful picture. Thanks for posting. Wouldn't we all like to see one of those before "the big freeze"?

nice ;D pictures even better wish i could get a close pic like that,, and i got a great camera too,, mind you praireiwolf has given me some lessons he he he .

Found several silvers but no Barbers to date. When I do, hope it looks as good as that one. Nice coin.

Looks just like my second barber. 1916, the same year as the valuable 16 merc. Beautiful coin. HH

You're supposd to keep those? Silly me, I was using them for tolls - just kidding!

Congrats!! It's a beautiful coin.

Congratulations on the really nice Barber dime....That takes me back to 1990 when I found my first Barber dime....a 1916 also....and in very similar condition. Feels good don't it?

I hope you fare better with them from this point out. I found only one this year....an 1899 which had been that beautiful when it was lost...but laid in a pile of ashes for 100 years. The lye in the ashes leeched the copper out of the coin and it's basically junk.

I've found 4 seated dimes to date....but just 2 barbers.

Very nice find!!WTG!!

Awesome!! Still haven't found one but workin on it, along with a lot of other firsts! Great Find!!

I'm surprised no one asked if it was a dime or not. There was no mention if it was a quarter, half, or dime. Nor could I tell from the picture what scale the picture was. Is there anyway to distinguish a half, quarter, or dime from the obverse?
