My First Benitoite, Neptunite & Joaquinite

Went to the California State Gem Mine over the weekend with my kids and I am cleaning my specimens and below are pictures of what I have found so far. The Benitoite is stunning. The blue/violet color is amazing. Brb, just found a nice, stony Benitoite! Lol

NICE! I also have a benitoite here...somewhere.. Love the colour and clarity of some of those cali benitoites!

I just picked up a bag from Capistrano Mining this morning and it is loaded with them! Cleaning today, probably start etching too. Absolutely giddy!

I don't, it's stashed away somewhere in my rough box. Around 2 cts I think it was, perfectly gemmy with termination.

Been doing some more cleaning. Have a lot of material to etch and some free floating to cut!
