Sunday we went to Arkansas to hunt a battlefield and this is what I found the 1st pic is the field then my stuff I found a couple of chunks of something that could be a pot or artilry shell pieces a nut a whatsit and then I got a good hit so i start to dig and check the spot again to get it exact and my detector dies aguhh!
So I yell at Jeff I am not leaving this spot til I kno what is in it! That is where the button back came from and as I am putting the dirt back (and yes I looked for the rest of the button) that was when I found the arrow head. Same hole! Same area I found an arrow head last year they said the fort there had indian trouble too. The last shot she my buddy and no she does not help dig she laid on my lap while I tried to dig!

Glad to see you are out and about hunting.

I still have yet to find an old button in good shape. That back looks good and you found and arrow head to boot. sounds like a successful hunt to me.

Nice finds and nice dog.I like the arrow head.

Nice button! Cute dog! My dog would just bite me if i tried to bring her hunting. ::) hehe. Nice job on the button and other goodies! Spot looks like it would produce really well!

I can see a Beautiful Eagle in front of the one MG... Keep hittin' the place, look's very promising!!!!

Thanks everyone .. I love the arrow head too, last year I did not find anything except an arrow head but, I got to tell Jeff my ammo was older than his! He found a few civil war bullets then! The dog shes not mine she just followed people around she is the land owners dog! But all she wanted was attention! I will post the metal pics tomorrow I guess we left them on camera!

WTG MJ! Just think, that arrowhead probably cut that button right in half on some guy, close call. That's the story you can tell anyway.Glad you got out and had a good time.Hope it was just the batterys with your detector and glad Jeff's leash let him be in earshot.

Looks like y'all had a good little trip, MG. Great finds...I always loved finding Indian artifacts too.

 RR

looks like a great day to me!! I think I would wanna keep the dog too lol too cute

Keep searching you will find that button that you are hoping for.You never know you might find the face of the button the next time out. CW Relic hunting is just about the onle digging that I do and every time any CW Relic is found it bring a little glare to the eye.Just knowing that the items hasn't been seen or touched for about 145 years.Keep your hopes up and you never know when the find of a lifetime will pop out of the ground.
Congrats on your finds

Hey Lady, looks like you had a good time at least and came up with a sweet arrow head to boot! What do you mean your detector died??
Do we need to make a checklist for you to get you prepared the next time you go out? 1. FRESH BATTERIES, LOL
Congrats on a good day and good luck on the next! Johnny 8)

LIKE THE ARROW HEAD. GREAT FINDS.

Thanks everyone I think it was my best day on finds ever! I wanted to jump up and down when I saw the button back!
Then putting the dirt back there was the arrowhead! WOW 2 for 1 hole it was great I just kept a silly grin on my face!
The dog she was there last year when we went there, she is just super friendly, and yep she went up to people and just laid down real slow and over she rolled and gave that look, once you petted her she kept following you!
