Went out to RI yesterday with my Dad to meet up with some fellow members of the YTC club of Hartford. He hit up some older celler holes and an old mill. I ended up with a large copper that in the worst condition of any ive dug. There is virtually no detail on it. I also got a US Army ring. Its says 10k gold Filler CREST CRAFT inside. Any info would be great. I know its not solid gold which sucks, but what does 10k fill mean. Thanks for looking
Keith
One of my fellow members got a nice george 2 1755 copper, 17%% george 2 half penny, and a 1846 lC.

If I remember right, the Crest Craft rings were over the counter knock offs of military and high school rings.
My friends and I bought them while we were still in our early teens to make us look older. lol
Still some good finds!
Mike

That must have stopped your heart when you found it, and then stopped it again when you saw it was 10k gold filled.

Are you more sad, or mad?
