My First Colonial Era Lead Bale Seal?

Found it today next to a colonial era cellar depression. And found this other stuff along with rose nails and larger iron spikes plus a horse shoe tres53.webptres54.webptres57.webptres55.webp. Previously had found two mid-1700's brass shoe buckles downhill of this site. Thinking this one may be untapped, headed there tomorrow. Interesting drawing reminds me more of a map than a product.Seems more copper-like, no lead powder yet malleable.

Its a Lead Cloth Seal.
