My first Corprolite,& sharks teeth.

A friend gave me a large lump of a clay like shale.I soaked it for like 4 weeks.( it still has to soak some more tho)Well this is what we found so far.

In the future, try this. Let the clay/shale dry thoroughly - weeks in your storage shed would not be too long. When it is totally dry, plop it into a pan of water to which you've already added a small amount of laundry (non-sudsing) detergent. You'll be amazed at how easily the clay disaggregates.
