This is a warning for anyone dealing with First Texas Products. I sent in my CZ21-8 for a warranty repair. When they sent it back, it still did not work, so I sent it back again. The first time it arrived back at my home, I was working in the driveway when FedEx showed up with it. I know the driver, as he's been delivering here as long as I've lived here. The second time they sent it back, I was not home when it was delivered. When I arrived home in the evening, it was nowhere to be found. I checked my account on FedEx and got the proof-of-delivery picture. I checked with my neighbors, most of whom were not home at the delivery time, but no one saw anything. So I informed First Texas Products that it had been stolen from my home. They told me they would check with FedEx. The next day, I received the same picture from them that FedEx had provided me, showing it on my steps. I filed a police report the same day.
After several emails and phone calls to them, I found out that they had shipped a $1,600.00 machine with no insurance and no signature required. I finally talked to someone who told me they were testing and boxing a new CZ21-10 that I did not want. I told them I bought the CZ21-8 because that is the machine I wanted, not a CZ21-10. They pretty much told me, "Too bad, that's all we have." So I let them send it to me. When I got it, I had to sign for it. The box says it was made 4/2026, and this is 10/2026. I have sent them countless emails to different departments with no replies. They will no longer take my calls. Today I sent them an email stating my demands and that they broke the bailment between us. My lawyer says he is willing to file a claim against them, but that would be at my expense.
Who sends a $1,600.00 item uninsured? My hope is that no one else has to go through this with First Texas Products (Fisher Labs). I did take the CZ21-10 on my cruise, but when I opened it, there was no battery holder, so I had no way to use it. Sure was fun to sit on the beach and watch my friends finding gold for days. What a joke. So now I have an 8-inch coil cover that fits nothing I own, and a CZ21-10 that I can't even use.
