My first ever hunt

So I am a newbie to all this MD'ing but I am definitely addicted now. I started my first hunt ever yesterday at the neighborhood park (neighborhood was built in the old town of wetmore Texas so I thought maybe id find at least something neat). Spent an hour out there and came up with this stuff... Mostly pennies (nothing of greatness the oldest one is just from 1961)

But I had a GREAT TIME!!!

I'm a Newbie" too! Started 6yrs ago, on a USFS Passport In Time project on an emigrant wagon trail. On a borrowed Tesoro Cibola, my first find was a dinky one inch cut nail - I was hooked!

Awesome...My first time out with my kids we found less, but had the best time. We're addicted and thankful that the weather on the East Coast is finally changing for the better so we can get out a lot more.
