My first finds

I found these in my Father's yard borrowing his metal detector to kill time. Found these within 3ft of each other. can anyone identify the plate? the plate has a hinge that swivels on the left side.I know the small piece is from a pocket watch face or something

It looks like it according to the picture but I put the pocket watch face next to it to show the size...It is small and fits in the palm of my hand.

Looks like the whole lot is from the same watch to me. I see where the pocket chain attached. The spring would be under the hinge and the button on the other side would push the lever to release the face plate. You can even see the hole the face plate release tab would fit into.
