Yesterday, I looked through my fourth penny box and found my first IH.

I was stoked! I also made a few other interesting finds.

A 1957 Canadian cent in excellent condition and a 1976 capped die error, which I had to look up. It also has a line across the right side of Lincoln's face...any ideas what caused that?

All in all, a great box and a great day!
Happy hunting,

That's a lovely IH! Only one I've ever found was the 1893 I got in change a few years ago. Congrats!

Nice! Now what have I got to do to find a coin struck by a capped die?

Congrats on your 1st indian and that's a nice example of a struck thru cent. They don't show up too often. I think the third one is struck thru grease.

Nice find. I like the crispness of it. My 1868 is quite dirty. Only found one myself, your heart nearly stops as you see it.
