My first mercury

I went to the El Paso community again yesterday to the old store foundation and park square where I found 5 IHC pennies last week. I found a 1942-D mercury, my first silver dime; and 4 wheats-1928, 1944-D, 1946 and a 1956-D.

WTG BVW. Looks like you found a sweet spot to hunt. Congrats on your 1st merc and 1st silver dime. I just visited the spot I pulled my 1st Merc last Sunday. I pulled the Merc last July at a local state park.

Nice find BVW! I just found my 4th one yesterday in 5 years of hunting! They have all been shallow and somewhere I really didn't think there would be silver.
