Great job more then I found in my first month, you must be hitting all the right areas with your new toy. Again congratulations, keep swinging slow.

A dime at 8in in the soil is pretty deep. Most machines the conditions have to be just right to hit such a small target at that depth and ID it right. On TID machines, coins at depth like the 8 in dime if there is any trash co-located with it can drag the TID number down in the pull tab range or make you think it's trash. The nice thing about the Vaquero is the disc is not affected by depth like some other tesoro's and when you get that faint deep beep and it won't disc out you know you better be digging. Good luck with the Vaq, I have had mine for many years since it first came out and will never let it go.
