Was going through my fathers collection this past week-end with my mother. Pretty much all clad but I did come across a
1923 Liberty Standing quarter. I will post pic's of this coin and others later. Also found some very odd coins from WWII issued by Germany, most was aluminum but one seemed to be silver. Coin shop I frequent didn't know what it was, so when I post up pictures maybe I can get some clues to it's past.

if you can post some pictures of the coins, I'm sure somebody here can ID them for you

My camera phone ain't the best.... >:(

It doesn't do the coins justice......The dealer said the liberty had been cleaned sometime in it's past. The pouch we found it in hadn't been opened for over 20 years. Don't know if my father did it or somebody else before he came into position of it.

Thank you, I must have spent three or four hours and could not find a thing. My youngest son will probably spend a few hours on that site looking up what I gave him. There were several smaller coins that seemed to be made of aluminum.
