I live near the Battle of Days Gap,and the Battle of Crooked Creek Sites in Alabama.One of the most interesting but little known campaigns of the war.Gen.Nathan Bedford Forrest chased Lt.colonel Abel Streight thru N.Alabama.I have permission from the land owner to search the sites and donate findings to his museum(he lets me keep a few).Many of the gun pits are still visible and most of the area has not been searched,I'm waiting for spring.

hey.... welcome to the forum.....I live in Albertville and have been wanting to hunt in that area , so if you want some help (I will be glad to donate as well) i havent been fortunate enough to hunt an actual CW site and it would be an awesome thrill.
