Cleaned up a bit with some olive oil Nd a toothpick.

Story is I went to a dirt lot that has never had any homes to my knowledge from research. Just went hoping to find some clad and got lucky.

B B K, you found a neat quarter with the 'C C' mint mark. A suggestion: Get some baking soda....wet your finger....dip it into the baking soda and rub the quarter, both sides with the baking soda. It'll clean it very well. To me, olive oil has never worked for me.....never did. I've been using the baking soda paste for over 50 yrs, and it does wonders!
