My first silver CRHing!

It isn't much but since I was only able to bankroll 9 rolls of dimes, I think one Rosie was pretty good.

I recycled scrap metal that I got for free. Free silver is good silver.

I just scrapped out 100 pounds of free aluminum.

I wanted to buy some silver.

Had to settle for 3 bags of chicken feed instead.

Interesting bit, I weighed all of the rolls before opening them. Two of the rolls weighed about .4g more than the others. one of those rolls had the silver in it. No idea why the second didn't though.

The other roll could have had less worn down coins, and more new coins. Was that the case?

I didn't count them but there seemed to be several that looked newer. Good point. I assumed that the roll would weigh more if it had silver in it but I hadn't accounted for possible newer, less circulated coins in there.

Checked another $70 FV last night and got skunked. Cashing in that 70 plus the original 50 and getting more dimes today. I think I am going to cash out after that and buy myself a metal detector. CRH was just a passing fancy while I saved up for the detector. I had some windfalls recently and I think it is time for the detector. Maybe I will find some silver that way before winter sets in.

Yup, another $125 searched and total skunk. I think I used all my luck on the first 9 rolls. I seem to have a knack for that. First time I played pull tab, gambling, I won $50 and haven't won more than 50 cents since. First time I played the lottory I won $3 and haven't won anything since. I am sure if I kept going with the CRHing, I would eventually find something but I think I am going to cash out and send some money to Bart at BigBoyHobbies for a Fisher F2 metal detector. Maybe I will find gold my first time out and never find anything again.
