My first silver for the year a 1918s Standing Liberty. Video added

Hi Guys
Found my first silver for the year. My first Standing Liberty 1918 s. It's a workout swinging the 10x12 SEF on the etrac in the snow. Finding the silver makes it a little easier. I was using Andy Sabisch's coin program, sensitivity manual 30, audio response pitch hold. The coin was about 4/5 inches deep.
I can't believe I scratched the front of the coin. Especially with the pot holes I dig and yes I do fill them back in.

What a GREAT silver to start the year

Not many of those have readable dates. . . that must have been lost in the early '20's.

Huge congrats! Like said, a readable date on a pre-1925 SLQ is a rarity. Nice 1st for the year. You are amassing a nice collection if you through that in with your Capped bust.

Don't complain about that...I went over 400 days without finding a Rosey. Only mercs and Barbers...I bitched about it so much that eventually the Barbers and mercs slowed down and it seemed all I was able to muster was Rosies.

Then again, maybe if you keep complaining, you'll only get mercs and Barbers. Complain away!!

Thanks for the feed back guys. I don't think it is 8 over 7. I've looked at it pretty good and I don't see anything but a 8.
I'm still pretty happy finding a Standing and a silver for the year. I know once the wheather breaks I going to have a hard time keeping up with all your big totals.
