Have you looked into colors of silicone ? Black RTV would be pricey. Wonder if it can be tinted somehow.
 

Iv seen guys on youtube die it and they do have a black silicone some guys are using, I'll have a 5 or 6 inch strip of treadmill belt to use for indicator mat...

How wide is your sluice? I''ll make another one...
 

I don't have one that takes mats yet......That was why I spoke of making a new one, just so I could play too, lol.

I plan to do it 8 inches wide i think, unless we decide differently. Just a simple wood one with mats I can play with.
 

Go with 10 inch then you can barrow mats from me...
