Continued on the Barley Stubble Field, started without Dad & he joined me after 1.5 hours, ended up doing 3 hours. It wasn't until we were about to move to another site, that I decided to switch gridding to a patch in the middle I had a feeling about. Glad I did because out popped my only hammered of the day & a Rare one by our standards. I think its a Henry II 'Telby' type but I can't see it in the book, will need more research. This is more like what I hoped for off the field :headbang: Super happy with it ;D

Also had a very nice Jetton of a type I need :)
Counterfiet Georgian Shilling
2 x 17th Century Tokens
1 Rose Farthing
Medieval Horse Harness Hanger (shame we didn't get the pendant)
A few Lead Tokens

For any Nighthawks reading - CRUSADER 1 - SCUM 0

Picture 7 was 1 hour on the recently discovered Roman Site in the storky Rape Crop. Got 1 nice Roman Coin all the way from Turkey :icon_thumright: (3 scrappies, 1 holed - could be more clues on Saxon activity)

THANKS - That's even more square :o I knew they were fairly irregular but not seen these before. I can't see any letter on the reverse, so I guess I will never know the moneyer & Mint. Still I really like it, so crude :icon_thumright:

Furniture decor, the hanging drawer pull went through the hole.
