Continued on the Barley Stubble Field, started without Dad & he joined me after 1.5 hours, ended up doing 3 hours. It wasn't until we were about to move to another site, that I decided to switch gridding to a patch in the middle I had a feeling about. Glad I did because out popped my only hammered of the day & a Rare one by our standards. I think its a Henry II 'Telby' type but I can't see it in the book, will need more research. This is more like what I hoped for off the field

Picture 7 was 1 hour on the recently discovered Roman Site in the storky Rape Crop. Got 1 nice Roman Coin all the way from Turkey
(3 scrappies, 1 holed - could be more clues on Saxon activity)
