My first two electrolysis projects!! Axe and hook!

Found these a week ago and have electrolysis a try... They look beautiful and I'm so glad I removed the 80 years of rust. That hook is wrought iron and is amazing. I did electrolysis for a day or two for each then knocked off the rust followed by leaving them in white vinegar overnight then finishing them with a finishing pad to remove the black residue. I'm certainly no pro but if anyone needs help just message me I will do my best.

Wow! Those came out looking amazing!
I love finding old iron too, although I have yet to attempt electrolysis.

I used a Lortone Tumbler, I find it's great at removing surface corrosion without damaging the surface that's remaining.

Here are a couple of before and after pics of relics I've tumbled.
