So I finally got out and tried out my bounty hunter tracker 4. Holy smokes metal detecting is hard work. I digging with a trowel and a hook to pull the plug out but I think I really need a pinpointer and a digging tool...
I have found mostly junk and scraps of metal. 3 bottle caps, 1 pull tab, 2 crushed cans, $0.11 in clad and this stuff:
This was the only one I kept because all those other things were really big. Any idea what type of metal this is? Its really heavy and not magnetic? Still waiting for my ring and or old coins! :P
